Lives in San Pablo la Laguna, Sololá, Guatemala.

 

Elena lives with her grandmother, her three sisters, and her two brothers. 
She began working in Alma de Colores in 2015. She also attends Centro Maya to learn the Guatemalan sign language along with her mother and her grandmother. 

What do you like about attending Centro Maya and Alma de Colores?
"I love working and learning new things, especially making bracelets and earrings. I love spending time with my friends and colleagues.

Elena dreams about continuing to study, as well as getting married and building a happy family.
