Martha lives with her parents and her three brothers. She has been attending Centro Maya since she was a little girl; here she had the opportunity to keep her speech and language therapy and learn how to communicate with other people. She speaks and uses on a daily basis the Guatemalan sign language.

Martha joined Alma de Colores on February 2015. She loves making rings and macramé flower necklaces. She loves listening to music and dancing; salsa is by far one of her favorite rhythms. She dreams about moving to the coast as she is really passionate about nature, warm weather, and the beach.
