Restaurant and Coffee Shop
Alma de Colores' Resaurant and Coffee Shop was born in the frame of the Café Correcto project; it is a space thought out to promote the consumption of local products, among which organic vegetables from our own organic garden, the conscious consumption of natural resources and the valorization of typical dishes of the indigenous Tzutujil culture, as well as the inclusion and dignification of people with disabilities.
In addition to serving delicious lunches, breakfasts, and snacks, the restaurant promotes cutlural activities, markets with local products, and educational activities about the importance of a healthy diet and themes related to disability.
The organic garden was also born as part of the Café Correcto project and is done in collaboration with the local NGO Ati't Ala', which provides an expert in organic agricultre to train two people with disabilities.
The garden aims to educate about food sovereignity and promote healthy eating habits. To do so it is a training center for students from local and international schools.
